I spent part of book release day visiting with the Child and Young Adult Literature Class at Jefferson City High School. These young, budding authors and I talked about the process of writing a children's story and taking it from idea to publication. I provided some signed copies for each of them to celebrate the day and they sent me this lovely photo to commemorate the event. What an incredible group of young people! There is a future author in this group, I'm sure!
